Programme Overview
The Department of Food Technology at Tamale Technical University offers the HND in Food Science, a three-year programme designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in food production, processing, preservation, quality assurance, and food safety. The programme combines scientific principles with hands-on laboratory and industrial training to prepare students for the growing food and agro-processing industries. Through innovative teaching and practical experiences, students develop the expertise needed to contribute to food security, product development, and sustainable food systems.
